Severn exists to see lives transformed by Jesus. Our doors are wide open to people from all backgrounds and ages and stages of life.  It doesn’t matter where you are on your spiritual journey, our passion is that you would have a life-changing experience with God.   This is all a by product of our love for God and our love for people.
It’s the life-changing, welcoming atmosphere at our worship services that people usually notice first.  This, coupled with authentic worship and teaching centered on Jesus, is what makes Sunday morning an experience where people can develop their love for God.
If you stick around, it won’t take you long to discover that we are much more than a Sunday morning experience.  In fact, we’re actually a network of small-groups designed to help people like you grow together and develop healthy relationships with people in your community.  If this is something you’re interested in, you’ll be glad to know that there are opportunities to join a group all the time.
While Sunday mornings and small-groups are central to who we are, there’s more.  Together, we are striving to become the kind of church Jesus said he would build.  In short, we’d like to embody a love for God and a love for people that allows us to influence, encourage, and impact our entire community and beyond.  Jesus’ entire life was about serving others.  What we learn from Jesus is that something powerful happens when we stop living for ourselves and start living for others.  Our commitment to serve the community is all about helping people discover that serving like Jesus is the key to a life that is more fulfilling than we ever imagined in could be.
Whether you’ve got questions about God, are a committed Christian who wants to deepen your faith, or someone who doesn’t know what they believe, you are welcome here.  We would love to see you this Sunday at 8:30, 10, or 11:30 a.m.line

We realize that Sunday morning is an important time. However, we  encourage you to come as you are, whether it’s formal or casual attire.
